Many facilities will delay moving away from analog cable for as long as possible to avoid capital spending that can be delayed.  Schools and hospitals have invested heavily in coaxial cable systems over the past 20 years and many of these systems are still in good shape and provide an excellent cable signal to all users.

For organizations that need to continue to use this infrastructure but also want to provide video on demand services to their staff, Synergy Broadcast continues to manufacture flexible and configurable MPEG2 servers to meet this need.

Our Video On Demand Digital Servers are available in variety of channel configurations from 1, 4, 8, 12, 16 and larger.  Storage is also configurable from as small as 2, 500G drives in a mirrored array to 24, 1TB drives in a RAID 5 array to meet the demands of any sized facility.

These same Video Servers can be converted from analog output to digital output if your distribution system changes in the near future.
