FireBird Digital Server

FireBird is our multi-format digital server and provides seamless back-to-back playback of MPEG2, DV, DVD-VOB files and Windows Media.  FireBird also includes our Informa graphics system for creating and triggering logo insertion, lower third and full screen projects.FireBird is perfect for single channel operations, information channels, messaging channels and other applications where high quality graphics and video are required.  Sports venues can benefit from FireBird’s manual trigger modes to broadcast commercials, graphics with audio, results and scores and more.

The Synergy Broadcast FireBird Digital Server is a multi-format, single channel, digital playback device designed to provide a simple and easy-to-use playback operation with “on-board” graphics for cable channels, TV stations, information channels and in-house channels.

FireBird is designed to manage the multiple formats your center handles everyday.  MPEG2, DV and other formats playback seamlessly from FireBird’s multi-format platform.

MPEG2, DV, DVD and Windows Media files can be imported without encoding.  This simplifies the “prep” stage and workflow process to save you and your staff time and effort.

In addition to playback, the FireBird Server also includes the Synergy Broadcast Informa™ graphics player so you can assemble and display eye-catching graphics, logos, crawls and scrolls to enhance the image of your channel.  The Informa package includes our rotating 3D cube, pyramid and sphere that can be used to enhance your logo and other on-screen graphics.

Create event and playback schedules for FireBird using Synergy Broadcast’s feature-rich Automation Software.  This automation package provides operational flexibility and ease of use to help you manage playback and control standard broadcast devices such as VCR’s, DVD players and routers.  The software includes our “Status Notification” and remote access features as well as our extensive reporting package to help you manage your facility with ease.
