The DS-2000 Video Server is designed for facilities that need large amounts of MPEG2 storage for cable and broadcast applications. Typical DS-2000 features include:

The DS-2000 provides users with the perfect server for migrating the path from analog to digital to HD. This server provides simultaneous analog, SDI and HD outputs and is perfect for the station that needs to prepare for HD but don’t need the actual HD output. This server provides you with the ability to output analog or SDI for your program transmission and when your cable company is ready for HD you are as well. This server can also up-convert and down-convert from SD to HD and HD to SD. Other features include:

MPEG2 quality video playback up to 70 Mbps (80Mbps through DVB/ASI input) and Program Streams up to 45Mbps.
