The Welcome Channel serves as your visual voice to patients, guests and staff. The Welcome Channel runs on a separate channel from the Patient Education system and is usually placed between channel 2 and 14 on the lower end of your channel line-up.
Use the Welcome Channel to punch up your hospital TV system to provide updates on Food Service Hours, Gift Shop Hours, Visiting Hours, Parking, Meetings, Support Groups and other similar types of helpful information. In addition, you can provide news and weather updates, spotlight various hospital departments, provide helpful phone numbers, health and wellness information, daily food service specials and menus, and much more.
